Is the Collectors Edition worth the extra $40?

I'd like someone's opinion that has it or knows about the in-game items to tell me if you think it's worth the extra $40 if I'd only be buying it for the in-game items.

I wish I knew more about the items coming with the Upgraded Editions, hopefully they'll share a little more information before release on it. If you haven't already, check out http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...2-Preorder-FAQ as it does share a little information on some of the items, but its very limited sadly. Hope that it helps any.

It's worth it. Everything is worth it. You will save money on the game in the long run if u planned to get bits for boosts and stuff.

Also In game items are always collectible, so in some way if you value uniqueness getting the higher valued game is always better. I believe you get an additional title, i'm not sure what titles do but in a lot of games they boost stats somehow.

if you mean is it worth it fiscally ie you spend the $40 do you get $40 yes, more so.

however if you mean is it worth it, only you can answer that as its down to if you want the items it gives you. you could buy it and not actually like half the items within it. so youve spent an extra $40 to only want $20 worth of stuff to you.

Im facing this struggle right now. I know im getting the 100$ version, so I keep looking at the season pass alongside the extra bits and that "Pale Wars Ronin" title.

Cause Ronin are awesome.

I think It will be worth it, I'm going for it. And I RARELY go for it. Nowadays the limited edition and bundle versions usually aren't that great, But I'm in this time

I have gone back and forth between which version I should get. I am only interested in the in game items, so for me, the value comes from that. I suspect the titles and skins will be limited to those editions. The counterbalance is that I may find a skin or title that I like better and at that point, the title or skin becomes pointless. If the season pass and 1,200 bits are less than $50, I don't see the point of getting the Ultimate Edition, because I can just use cash and still come out cheaper.

Of course if the skins are really awesome and their aren't many better titles, the money for the CE or UE would be well spent. I remember buying the World of Warcraft Collector's Edition and there were items in there that were never made available anywhere else. I plan on spending a lot of time with Defiance, so I want to maximize my experience.

Having said all of that, I still have no idea what to do.
