i mean i agree with everything youve said about work outs to the cons i stated, most of my friends would know most of this stuff. but thats because of the circle i run in. how ever alot of people wouldnt and couldnt be bothered to. why have a sports car that needs constant servicing when the family estate still gets you about. for those i would say console over pc.

for example i was playing gw2 a few weeks back and a guy in my guild (most know im a techie) seriously started going nuts because his mouse had stoped working and was paniced... it turned out he had to change the batterys.
Personally PC gaming is too expensive and there is still a lot about how a computer operates that i don't fully know before i take the leap to PC gaming. (i can build a PC but i still feel i need to know more in depth about all of the functions.)
Plus i grew up playing on consoles and using PCs for home work and data management so consoles just feel right to me. i have played nwn and bf2 on pc but i feel most at home with my ps3 controller in my hand. (i also have never gotten a virus.)

the funny thing i always find about alot of people who say they never have had a virus. most do. but dont know they have.

got to remember a virus doesnt want to be known. only when a virus goes wrong do most people detect them. when it stops your net working, or going slow. a fully working virus will happily sit on your machine right now and youd never know.

i had a friend i knew way back who used to be a cyber security expert for some large corperations here in the uk. He said the only way he could keep his pc's clean 99.9% was to filter all his websites through a bespoke OS made from a form of ubuntu which costs in the $1,000's. and even then he would still avoid websites that were known to be infected.

if a hacker wants on to your machine he will be on it. my tip is scan from as many different sources as possible. just because your AV right now says your clean, it probly isnt.

Edit: here's a good article on it.

Hi guys and gals. I will be playing on PS3. My PSN name is Eastwood4488 if anyone cares to play. I am mostly into Defiance for the co-op craziness and I am really hoping there is a flamethrower. Why? Simple, flamethrowers make any game more fun. I am probably going to go the LMG route seeing as I hate reloading, have pretty bad eyesight (I like getting nice and close and hate to stop shooting), and I like shooting hundreds of rounds regardless of if I hit anything because it is fun.

As you have noticed, you can hook up wireless keyboards & mice along being hooked up to big screen and projectors and enjoy the same while on the couch, laz y boy chair, futon or bed as well as wireless controllers.

No such things as rentals on P.C , I hate paying full price for a game that takes me 20hours to complete..
My fan does my head in, keeps rubbing on case hardly a con but anoys me sooo much.
Windows vista i got W7, but still that vista was so nasty.

Not really many cons on pc, But the price is most deffo the big one.

Either way i will most likly get it on both, but for the start i will get it for 360, i have more then enough MMO's on pc as it.

Not at all true man. refer to my Signature, my newest piece is my video card (Nvidia GeForce GTS 450), which I happen to got just just a year and a half ago. My mobo, Hdd, cpu/heatsink & fan, psu, ram (which is still only DDR2 800) are all from about 2007, my CD/DVD drive is atleast 10yrs old...

If you want a couple starting computers, I rarely ever suggest WalMart Online, but they actually have some nice systems for starters now a days.

    Examples:

    Intel
    1. Only $548

    AMD
    1. Only $468
    2. Only $498
    3. Only $539

WalMart only had 1 nice looking Gaming Machine (Case looking wise haha) For around that price. They (well AMD) even has some 6-8 core cpu builds for less than 1k. Than, upgrade your vid card every 4 years ATLEAST and your golden.

For those who are curious that is

ARK Fall Code Hunter Lvl 15 - VBI Operative
Hidden Codes - The Original - Where It All Began
