    Fine.
Group with the lower level players, and your superpowers scale DOWN TO THEM.
Socialism is great, but lets not be nuts about it.

Maybe make some WMs appear near the upper left corner with WMs who didn't drink their milk as sprouts, and aren't as tough.
Newbs in a vet level WM, when they don't know or don't care how to win, is part of the philosophy thats ruining the game.
I'm thinking the same thing, basically. The threat lvl should rise as you get farther away from the e rep base.

yep, this game is stupid easy, to the point it's insanly boring running around alone or with a small team or group.

expeditions are the level of difficulty everything should be at, every siege and arkfall should be as hard as the solstice strike event.

The A.I. is and has been broken since ALPHA and never fixed.

Enemies are just bullet sponges that absorb ammo...
making them sponges with better shields isn't the answer.

Without a doubt, DEFIANCE has the worst, and stupidest A.I. that just stands there and dies.
And there are A LOT of games, being last on that list with the worst A.I. is just sad.

TRION should remove and replace the enemies actions,
it is long over due - and hey, another annoying flaw:

You have a bunch of players armed with rocket launchers:
WHY can't we drop those annoying air ships ?

These air ships swoop down and drop more stupid clowns from the sky...
a dozen rocket launchers roar through the sky ...
and .... nothing ... just nothing.

Airships should be 'boss' monsters just like great big hellbugs.

That really needs fixed - they usually show up in pairs or three at a time...
It would be nice to drop one from the sky!

The only thing I recall from the stream that was even remotely near what you heard was the Devs talking about Silicon Valley being made a bit more challenging. That does not equate to them 'making the game much harder', and if that's what caused them to quit, they were on the verge and looking for an excuse already.

Well, some of my mates are saying they are leaving due to the farming being stopped. It's been said many times this game is loot driven. The RNG is poor at best and the ONLY way to obtain gear you want is to grind for it. The economy has gone to pot. The bonus roll system changed a few months back that caused a disturbance in the force. The advertising and changes directing players to the bit store was the second red flag. I have hard enough time using teleport without getting critical errors the team went and added advertising to the load window. The log in splash should have the option to turn off and the suggestive selling is getting annoying. Almost always it prompts me to check my cart and I find something has been placed there.

I always thought it should be this way. I'm sorry if new people might think it unfair, but things should get tougher the further south you go. Make everyone EARN the right to go in different areas. It would even give more incentive to max out at 6000. As of now, my little 350 ego toon can go anywhere and do anything my 5600 ego one can, and to be honest, I don't feel that much of a difference.

In rpgs like FF, I would work my butt off leveling just to make it easier in other areas. It's almost pointless in this game.

Erep should be tl1, Marin, tl2, Madera tl3, sos tl4/5 half of upper San tl6, lower San 7/8 and make sv tl 9

Award more exp, loot, af in harder areas so if a brave noob wants to lvl faster, they can push themselves.

But people hate struggle and challenge. They gripe about grinding and work and want everything now, so it'll never happen.

We got a lump of coal in our stockings as far as season three content is concerned, and suddenly people want the AI in this game to get "smarter"?

Excuse me while I run off and LMAO.

The only thing that gets me to "quit" a game is boredom, and for me, Defiance is trending in that direction.

    I have lots of opinions.

    That's a good one..
Either the AI gets smarter, or the players get smarter.

The NPCs can't move on, but the players can.

And be careful with that coal.

I miss the challenge the original Volge brought to the game. They killed me a lot, but it was good fun. I wasn't the only one, I remember there would be times when a dozen or more arkhunters would be sitting in the hills above the Iron Demon crossroads just waiting for the next Volge emergency to spawn.

The old troopers actually used tactics like running and shooting (extremely accurate with a lot of punch). Now the few times they do shoot with their tickleguns they couldn't hit the broadside of an arkfall. And they spend most of their time walking, throwing grenades, or doing that annoying carpetbombing move that encourages bunnyhopping.

And the old viscera were lethal. They weren't blue crit magnets that let you stand there shooting them while waiting for them to blur charge. If you didn't avoid their charge you got knocked down and sometimes couldn't get back up in time before the viscera walked over and skewered you.

Now the challenge is threat level armor plate sponginess and making sure the ammo doesn't run out.
