Thought we werent going to be able to re-roll prepatch guns?

This is what I am thinking that they were not going to allow re-rolls of these kind of weapons. Would be great if the did.

Would be even better if the guns re-organized themselves to the better rolls when upgraded to Supreme. But I have no idea what they have in mind.

I was under the impression this change would have no retroactive affects. And that only newly generated guns (I.E. guns generated after the patch was implemented) would be allowed to experience re-rolls. Meaning anything we have right now is not qualified for this change.

I thought all new roll weapons were gonna be able to. I'm still unsure it it will only pull from rolls not already on the weapon or if it will re roll the lower tiers.

A good software engineer would have looked at the x2,x3,x4 roll system and would have laughed at the ridiculous waste of space. That is where they would have started. They would first figure out what would have to be done in order to combine the bonus rolls together (ie; new weapon tier). They would then recalculate pre-patch weapons possible dps numbers in that new system. This is probably also around the same time that software engineer would discover what bonus rolls have to be tweaked to create more efficient calculations. Since the software engineer would know it is going to take a good amount of development time to implement an entire new weapon rarity tier, that engineer might start by releasing new weapons with the tweaked bonus rolls, which then makes it easier for event/named weapons to be created. All the while that software engineer would have to keep the supreme pre-patch weapons dps in mind, and calculate the new weapons dps appropriately.

Just sayin.

If they do it will be for something well above those qualifications.
The software engineering is not being done by "good software engineers", It's being done by whoever will do it in whatever time they have just like the writing and acting before they gave up that whole end of the project.

Time to face the fact that this is a strictly "low bid" deal from here on out.
