The player claimed it was a new clan and has been seen around Defiance exploiting world maps, loadouts and other stuff. Saw them create 4 decoys today simultaneously.

Still wondering how the xp works and if there is a better faster way to gain?
Does having casual or inactive players in clan affect the xp gained?
Let's say clan A has 4/4 players active and play daily.
Let's say clan B has 4/15 players who play daily.
Would clan A in theory level faster than clan B?

Best thing to do if you think an exploit is involved would be to submit a ticket, let the Devs/CSRs look through the logs and figure it out. Beyond that, there's not a lot we can do about it.

To the best of my knowledge, the number of people in the clan doesn't have an effect, other than how many people at a given time are participating. 4 people should be 4 people, regardless of how many others may be offline/inactive in the larger clan. It's possible that higher EGO players will contribute more, faster, than lower EGO players due to the amount of XP they can earn in some events.

At one point it was stated that clan XP was tied to the amount of XP earned for a given event, if that's still the case, the clan with the highest EGO players would reach the daily XP cap in it's events faster, but not necessarily level the clan faster. If both clans are maxing all of their daily XP, in theory they progress at the same rate. I've noticed that the daily XP for each activity is not reset every day, it appears to be random as to which ones get reset, but I don't know if it's always the same number of activities that gets reset, or if that's random as well. If it's random, that's going to have an effect on how fast the clan levels.

I'm not sure if there's a definitive guide anywhere that actually covers how the clan leveling system works, but I imagine some of the leaders of the larger clans might be able to help clarify it if they're reading this, and give you some better data on the process.

If they are the only person in the clan, it is impossible. For sure. I've been playing this game for several hours a day every day since early April, 2013. I've always been a solo clan. I don't do bunny-hopping or Mario-cart, so I don't get anything from pvp and time trials. I'm at clan level 2250 and my clan contribution is a little over 300 million. I'm pretty sure there is no other solo clan even close to that...

That rating in 3 days is impossible due to the fact you can only earn a certain xp in each activity per day, once you hit the daily cap (indicated by 2 marks on each activity) any further xp earned in said activity doesn't count towards clan rating, it's just not possible to boost your clan activities beyond the daily cap, unless there's been a change recently and the daily caps have been removed

clan exp goes for being part of events it does not matter how many clan members are online it matters how much clanmembers are in same event with you the general idea of it was like that to clan go togheter at all stuffs no matter what they doo they go if you will have like 500 peeps online but they gona stand afk and you will bee onlyone on event it will not help much if all 500 clanmembers comes with you in event then it levels up faster event you are doing something like that

The reason why I ask is because a person created a new clan and within 4 days already reached 3100 clan rating. As far as I know they are the only member.

I agree. It's impossible. Because each activity has a daily XP cap. Our clan is probably around four months old (If that) & we are I think close to 3000. I'd like to find out the exact numbers to your question though. I'm curious!

I would like to know after doing certain things how many points you'd exactly get towards the clan. Example: if you were done a Siege & your points were 25k. If you were to do another one & your end score was 100k+. I guess you could check you're clan rankings & count but I've never tried..Hmm.

Yes, once its filled the marks go away for that activity and no more xp is gained until the next day, at contract reset I think

lol yup your right! clan rates have nothing to doo with damage locations and event triggering or something like that as more clan members join same even as faster your clan rates go up
