any chance of a common sense logical fix to the games horrible inventory problems >> using the Claims?
It's more of a solution for being able to move your stuff between your toons without having to involve someone else (which would also decrease tickets filed, and investigations for, people running off with stuff)... than it is a "horrible inventory problem" solution.

Would still need a tabbed inventory, or a text search, or better filters, or something to help with the other issues lol

but yes it would be nice to hear from dev(s) on this. I for one (of many and many) would love to be able to move tradeable and untradeable items between my toons without having to ask a friend/clannie to help move stuff (which eats two people's time)

I'm with this, or even making the vendor buyback function across all characters, example stefb42 sells 10 items to vendor, stefb43 logs in and buys them back, no need to worry about people using claims again for storage, no need for timers, you would have to get them before you sold anything or they'd be gone forever, plus given the amount of items that got cleaned up when they added timers to claims, they could maybe increase the capacity slightly of the buyback function

the only thing id worry about the buyback feature is,
will it return your weapons with the mods still on it after being sold...?

No idea, I was just thinking of a way using a system that's already in place, we can already sell/ buyback, but sending things to claims has never been an option (except through a full inv) though if selling/buying back currently strips the mods then that's something that would need adjusted, was just offering an alternative idea as sending items to claims has been requested on many an occasion and they always said no

Yes it does/would... only thing that'd need to be done to facilitate stef's idea is make buyback account wide instead of individual character's: perhaps have 10 slots in buyback for each character that's on the account. So like.. theres 2 characters on an account, they'd have a shared 20 slot buyback. But really even if its just a 10 slot buyback that's account wide - it'd be a solution for moving things between toons without having to involve other players, and would cut down on the tickets for people running off with stuff. Could also move things like chips, rigs, and untradeable named weapons this way with no extra coding needed... and those things would still be on the account / bound to the PERSON behind the controller.

that could actually work.. even easier than a bump to claim from inventory. Claims is already account wide (unless something's tagged specifically for one character, which only happens with certain mission rewards and ego code stuffs)

    You're kidding, right?

Unless, of course, it's to ask what color underwear the new feature will have or how many dog bisquits it snacks on. They will answer these types of questions endlessly...

It would be nice to see some dev feedback on this. Hell, a simple "no we can't" would be fine.

so the only real problem we would face then,is having enough Money/script on the alt toon,
to be Able to buy back those items....?
