To me this is the only downside of the game. Who uses onboard keyboard? I mean really? Is this a pc? Other than game party chat that is. Just curious what you guys think.

I have a chatpad, so I'm straight.
I never even see chat happening. What am I missing?
Nothing. Nobody says anything in area chat. Cept me, on occasion. And this one guy promoting his clan.
I can not imagine the hundreds of people whining during an Arkfall event, I am so glad there are not mics. If you want to join people invite them to your party then xbox live party with them.

I'm typically in a party with my friends/clan members so I guess I've never given it much thought. The game is loads more fun with people to talk to. And on random co op dungeons I have a USB wireless keyboard connected to at the very least explain where to go and what to do when my group seems lost.

I was in a shadow war earlier and I could hear a few people here and there talking - I'm on the Xbox 360
One would have to be careful with that. Imagine the Arkfall convo with all those people playing. It would be hectic!
