I can confirm that it DOES happen. My brother-in-law bought the 'white' buggy, except that it isn't white, never is! Usually it's some form of yellow, but changes occasionally.

FYI it constantly happens.
My white buggy has yet to display white anywhere but the preview window.
It usually shows up yellow but if a party member calls a red vehicle to goes red.
Grabbing a screenie of "white" vehicle displaying yellow.

Yeah basicly it steals the color of the closest buggy lol. pretty fantastic
It's is not a "Rainbow" buggy. It's a bug where the color of your vehicle changes every 20 minutes orso. Happens with every vehicle I spawn.
