Which platform do you think will have the biggest playerbase?

Like other people have said i believe PC will have the largest player base following Xbox and then PS3. They will die down in reverse order. I'm sincerely hoping there is backwards compatibility between Xbox and PC though >.<

A lot of people do hate xbox and a lot of people hate Ps3 I've owned a ps3 all I played with was whiny brats who complain about every little thing(Honest) when I get on xbox whiny brats yelling "quickscope" on any game that involves a gun.

Though both systems have mature players and gamers people are still going to yell and moan about which is better.

I still think it's going to be PC-Xbox-PS3. Unless Microsoft stops whining at lets them crossplatform (Doubt with only two months till release)

Good post. I was talking to someone just today about Defiance not really getting it's name out there for people to hear. Now that it's drawing a little closer i'm hoping we'll see more advertising and articles about the game in some gamer mags.

One thing i am hoping to see is a digital offer on PSN and LIVE and a free trial that would help push the game after release.

Agree with this. If it doesn't start ps3 > xbox a large amount of xbox gamers will bail. (not starting a console war just basing it off of xbox gamers i know.)

Also i think a lot of war/starhawk players might check it out. (That's actually why i looked into this game because it reminded me of war/starhawk and i love those games and i'm a huge sci-fi nerd.)

I going to say Xbox and PC even and then ps3. I would say Xbox will have numbers equal to that of PC because Xboxs are getting cheaper and all Xbox's can run defiance while not all PC can

All pc's can heck my tablet ran Defiance on with 1080p and most settings on high. Remember this game is made for all platforms and like all those games if your pc came out after the 360 did than your pc should handle it with equal graphics unless you really bought the cheapest piece of **** you could.

Well some of us just buy computers for Internet/office programs and not for gaming so no, not cheapest **** as you think, just a different computer for different reasons. And no, a computer I have from 5 years ago that obviouslyly came out a full 2 years after the 360 and it can't run Defiance. Not that I expected it to because that's not why I bought it. Just to claify our cheap **** as you think.

That because your still using a crappy integrate graphic card with a $150 graphic card or even a $100 you could easily run this game on your desktop and look that's cheaper than a 360.

if console specs are so poor compared to PC a PC shoudl b able to run just as good if not better than a PS3/Xbox right out the box (i.e with an intergrated graphics card)
