Got my computer new for under $150. Doesn't make it cheap or crappy just because you say I can't run the games you think all computers should run. Maybe you want AI on your computer and others want it for other needs, no computer is cheap **** if it does what you want. Fact.

I would assume PC would have the most players. Both consoles will probably start out strong but slowly begin to lose players overtime. I'm an 360 user so I hope a lot of people play it for along time.

Im a PCer. Large monitor, 5.1 surround sound, nice comfy chair and a place to rest my beer, my beer, my beer and my bourbon. And my beer.
Far more of this on the PS3 than on the Xbox but agree it is annoying as hell. I will be on the Xbox and I am not buying anything else until the new Xbox comes out. I think it will be PC, Xbox and PS3

I'll be playing it on 360 and sticking to it till the end and its annoying hearing about the 12 year old stereotype. I feel people forget that there is also i huge portion of 360 users that are just as Mature as anyone else.

Seeing as how the only real console MMO FFXI still has a good amount of popuation and is a super rare game plus its p2p I think Xbox may take the lead but we don't really know because not many MMOs are on Xbox. I still believe it will probably be very big on Xbox and possibly it's main competitor is PC.

Actually, most of the people who play MMOs and RPGs on consoles are good folk.
My experience on the console MMO - Final Fantasy XI Online, was that console players were just as dedicated & nice as anyone I'd ever met online. The Japanese players on PS2 especially were impressive.
Playing Dreamcast & Xbox Phantasy Star Online was always a good experience too.

But hey, let me have a try at generalizing about particular platform players, like you did...

PC MMOs on the other hand - bring out the worst of gaming. There are few actual real gamers on PC, in reality. PC gaming is all - Chinese gold farming, cheaters, hackers, macro bots, account hijackers, spammers...the worst. Just an unsavory bunch of people with the attitude of entitlement, and almost always full of themselves and their personal computer choice of platform.
That's what I like about consoles - everyone is the same. PCs on the other hand, always e-peen bragging about their specs, as if any of that has any real importance in gaming.
Yea, I'll stick with the "peasants" on console (all 100 on my friends list, are 25+ years of age btw, most 30s and 40s.) And we spend ZERO time talking about hardware, and 100% of the time talking about gaming & booze.

    well said Deilgyre

I agree 100% and guess/hope the tourette-kids will stay with their overhyped FPS (I point at you COD). MMO rage quitting ... a nice thought

My PC is just used for emails and surfing sites that PS3 and XBOX can't display right. A gaming PC should be able to handle games. Mine don't have to and can't.

btw i am dedicated & nice and moved around the sun 44 times
