Now since I've already grabbed the bugged one before the patch, I'm stuck without credit for it and not being able to pick it up again. Anyone have a workaround for this, or am I SOL waiting for it to get fixed by a GM?

I assume this is the "that's all I got" recorder? As I have picked it up but have no credit for it.
Sadly, you'll need to consort to a GM for this.
