    Damage-Type Mods

So, i have a few of them in my inventory.
    one question about them:
if my rifle has Fire damage as base, and i add a magazine with corrosive damage, will the rifle have both of them, or only one of them?

As ive complained, no one responds or knows jack about most mods. No info on them has been release AFAIK. Trial and error is the only thing we have now, unfortunately it could cost you a mod or weapon and some salvage.

im not quite sure about this
but as far as i know a weapon has only 1 damage type..
as previous posts suggested best way is trial/error/success method

From what I've seen weapons have two potential damage types, ranged and melee. Your magazine or stock mods that add certain damage types will overwrite any existing damage type that is there. So a magazine with biological will overwrite fire damage. A stock will overwrite the melee damage.

I seriously, seriously doubt they'd stack. More than likely the magazine damage type overrides the weapon's default.

As for the types of elements, from what I've used-

Fire- Puts a DOT on the target and causes some enemies to panic
Lightning- Stuns the target and nearby enemies doing mild extra damage
"Shadow"- Deal extra damage that refills your shield (around 40% per proc)
Acid- Debuffs the target to take 20% more damage.

They won't stack. One is ranged effect, other is on melee effect.
