    Varying DMG Factors

I had noticed a varying DMG Factor after I acquired and fully MOD the Northrup, a few weeks back. At first the DMG was 5385 then drop to 4941 and then back up and down. After 3.2 patch my DMG for the Northrup jumped to 9881. I also checked all of inventory weapons, and all of the DMG and stats had gone up. OMG was I happy with that, finally I had effecive weapons. (Footnote: Oldschool since 08/2013). At that point, I had taken the chance to Upgrade the Rarity of my Empousa MK 1, and was very, very, very lucky. Prior to starting the weapon showed a DMG 1679. Before Taking the chance it showed that it would have a DMG factor of 1714(not to great for the amount of AF used). The end result was the Empousa upgraded to a MKII Supreme and a DMG factor 3653. In the middle of a mission, the Empousa was very effective then NOTHING. Checked all my weapons stats and it seemed that ALL damage ratings have drop. Now the Northrup DMG factor is 4941 and Empousa is 1826. ???????? It has become very frustrating over the past 6 month, and have really noticed it lately, Having effective weapons one moment, then nothing and being killed. The Northrup MKI is a prime example. (Also, I understanding the TL and Players in the Area can effective the effectiveness, but it should not change the DMG on the weapon.)

    Just an additional Rant

I have noticed little bugs here and there over the years, but it never really effected the fun I was having, till now. I am FRUSTRATED, I'm on and old system (and slow). So I have never expected to achieve greatness within Defiance, BUT, your RNG needs new BATTERIES!

The high numbers and the final numbers on both weapons (9881/4941 and 3651/1826) are what I would expect if the first numbers were read during a damage spike. Since you'd be in your inventory screen there would be no way for you to know if someone spiked near you, which would explain the discrepancy as that does show on the weapon card. Just a guess but it does fit the card numbers being so drastically different. If you are over 5k ego I don't think TL gives you any ego boost anymore; but regardless, that increase is not reflected on the card if I recall.

Obviously I don't know for certain; but it is a reasonable cause for what you saw.

    "tpollett" thanks for your response.

First my EGO is 5821 and I understand that. I have ran the Damage Spike test before and the DMG results were alot higher. I feel it's a glitch that happen when change over to F2P, it's funny but my Alt which I started after F2P has less glitches/or none than my Main who I started from the being. I know it would be just easy to put her aside, but there has been a lot of time and money invested. For awhile I had looked as these glitches and bugs as a challenge, but it has become frustrating when the enjoyment drains out.

    Thanks again>
