Turns out it is a load of volge dancing around a christmas tree lol.

So looks like the special event is a little screwed up but at least i got some cool event exclusive weapons out of it so far

The event incorporates;

New Frontier Harvest Arkfalls-which feature mutants and biomen
Paradise Solstice-which features Volge
Colony Courtship-which features hell bugs

None of the arkfalls feature Dark Matter....

The event isn't "screwed up"...

During some of the SS minors, the ego was yakking about DM being detected. I heard it was happening other places also but can only vouch for those.

This my point exactly, happening on both Xbox360 and PC versions of the game, i think EGO needs some enemy recognition training :P
