The t-shirt in my fan kit is an American Apparel large sized t-shirt, so it's very form fitting and doesn't fit me.
The front is a VBI logo and the back is the same logo but smaller and says Von Bach Industries "advanced combat solutions for an ever changing world" Pretty sweet...

Large huh ? That's at least 2 L's too small for me, so as much as I'd like one there's no point as I couldn't wear it.
Too bad I wouldn't shrink in the washer.

Personally, I'd rather have a shirt that is too large than too small. So, after trying to get local printers to make me a custom t-shirt and getting shot down, I just went online and found someone that would do it. It's not an exact replica, but it makes me happy being able to wear a shirt that fits.
Also, to answer the question about where to get a fan kit, I've seen them given away through giveaways on certain sites. You might be able to watch the defiance twitters which is how I caught mine. I noticed the giveaway here, so I got to give FraggedNation my thanks.
