    Lost/Disappearing Items

I just can't take the number of disappearing items from my inventory. Tweaked weapons and mods. The first time I thought, maybe, I broke down the wrong item, but I have lost a couple of tweaked, main weapons. Just gone. I can't help but assume that there's a bug somewhere.

Also, I was adding a mod slot and the server shut down before the timer was over and I lost the 5000 salvage and when the server came back it was 8000 to add the same slot.

Sorry for the wine ... but it is frustrating.

Same Issue, the first time this happened I put in a Ticket and recreated my character because it was pretty new and I decided I wanted to try something else, While modifying a item on my new character I got logged out and re logged back in the the weapon being upgraded was gone, and slowly over the same game play all my items started disappearing one at a time.

It's kind of a deal breaker for me If all my stuff keeps disappearing to even keep playing even after reporting these issues.

Yep it is frustrating. Yesterday Exec Producer wrote an article and addressed this issue. So Devs are aware of it and are looking into it. Just try to remain patient while they work on a fix.

Disappearing items!? – This has started to crop up. Now, this shouldn’t be confused with a database crash during last night, this is something far more complicated but is connected to the Salvage Matrix but probably not the cause. Rather an underlying error which happens more with the use of the Salvage Matrix. We started seeing this happening more and more and have a team investigating this. We might disable the Salvage Matrix to minimize this problem while we find a solution.

Thanks so much for the responses. I was seriously considering asking for a refund but now I know they are aware I can wait it out because I do enjoy the game.

I also agree that it feels like it's the Salvage Matrix - as if they are programatically grabbing the wrong inventory ID.

In fact, the only thing I would say was really missing for me to completely enjoy it, other than the missing weapons, is a quick loadout change key - Like CNTRL 1, 2, 3, etc.

I agree a quick loadout change would be great. I've heard rumors that they purposefully didn't include hotkeys for some reason known only to them. But that was just a rumor and I have no idea if it is true or not. For all I know the upcoming patch could have hotkeys.

i have had the same issue,
the only work around i have found as i dont use all my load out is to equip the "good stuff" i want to keep on a different loadout to hold it in place. hasnt happened since i thought there was a "thief" type mob that was stealing from me untill my buddy said i was just a moron lol

Until it is fixed one workaround is: Once you start the process do not reenter the matrix screen until it is done, just leave it alone. Do not attempt to mod if there is a shutdown messsage or extreme lag since that may herald a crash. Use the log out feature not just close the game.

My guess: The matrix system marks the item as in progress on a timer. Making it an unequipable meta-item. If there is a crash that item timer is sometimes not carried over and it vanishes.
