Update: Upgrading Epic Tier Items to Supreme

So since you looked back and decided to this.....

Have you considered looking back at the time of the Supreme announcement...

Sure would be nice to have the buyback feature at the vender allow us to get back all the nice Oj 's we dumped because, Trion said the buck stopped there, no upgrades.

I dumped ALOT of things I upgraded that were very nice items, which was also a fair amount of AF to do, because you stated no upgrades. Some of the things from the first year.

If we are going to be competitive, we certainly cant use items that cant be maxed out.

I know you can change your mind and although this is a nice feature, any thought as to how that might upset a fair number of people?

Kind of leaves me with an outlook of "And Theirs Your Sign"

We also may find that the number of supremes entering the game at launch is sufficiently low enough that we can allow those old epics to also upgrade but we won't know that for sure until after we launch and see what the uptake is like.

I got rid of lots of excellent purples & some good red locked legendaries myself; but if you dumped everything upon announcement, that's on you - you should be good at the game anyway with such a quick trigger finger

Old (pre-supreme) hoarder way... I save every purple Purge SMG I pull with decent rolls. Basically because I know I can end up rolling a worthless OJ roll. If that happens I got 5 back ups. Eventually I get what I want.

But now we can reroll the OJ until we get what we want.

I vendored all of those and I'm perfectly happy with the way it turned out. If you vendored a BMF ST Blast Rifle because it was redlocked you just messed up. For one extra roll? Just a bad move all around even if this wasn't always a possibility. Which it was. They never said never..

That's a butt load of Af we flushed upgrading them to OJ from Purple. Only to be told that they will not be allowed to be upgraded.

We all say ok go about trying to get new weapons that can be brought up to the most competitive level for Expos and gameplay.

Then say opps well we changed our mind because there appears to be a lower number of supremes then we expected. So sure go ahead and use the old stuff now.

Sounds to me like an Af sink sorry but that makes no sense. Supremes are done with the success rate based on the Amount of Af we add to the Rarity try.

In all honesty I know allot of people only try at 5%, well then sure there is going to be less chances of success at getting a supreme.

All that said aside, stop with the rose colored glasses and stand up for yourselves, you are allowed to.

Except that it is not a simple fact. Your statement is a complete falsehood running counter to multiple actual statements of the developers which can be summarized as "not yet, maybe later"--which is not "flat out" anything. It is impossible for a reasonable person to read their statements as unequivocal.

If your takeaway from that was only the word "no" then you didn't read correctly. If you simply didn't read that, well, that's not exactly the devs' fault now is it?

You don't get to invent your own reality to justify your own bad decisions.

I know no such thing, because nobody I know of did this. I highly suspect that your arbitrary statistic is, at best, extrapolation of anecdotes and at worst, utter nonsense.

You are attempting to tell us, at a minimum, that 95% of the largest clan on PCNA vendored all their redlocked legendaries. Regardless of my estimation of that clan's average skill level, that claim is beyond laughable.

Not making anything up at all, flat out says only 1 tier upgrade can be performed.

Also I AM NOT saying this is a bad thing , if you at the original post I made, I said it was a good thing.

What I AM saying is what about the 500 af ea weapon that a lot of people flushed because we were told flat out only 1 tier upgrade and its locked
