Trion don't expect to transfer to the Xbox1. If you remove the items that people spent money on you're gonna lose money players and will end up belly up from this.

I play alot and know many vets in xbox na and a perma ban would ne ridiculous and bot tryin to knovk trion but the cost of turning a gun oj or rolling a supreme etc is a bit excessive. So for people to be so shocked an ask why they did what they did is laughable. I been grinding on this game for over a year now an just starting to make headway but the cash grab going on and the non love showed for true game supporters is very upsetting and half those players banned are still players who buy bit boxes etc ppl will always try to exploit as long as a game exploits them

I have issues with execs trying to make money off of us as much as possible, and even to the point of frustration. But I will also have issues with players cheating. Both are not right in my book.

Exploiting, cheating doesn't help correct the issues. Not paying for bits and PP will. Exploiting hurts the community. And if you care about the community, your friends, you won't do such a thing.

Got Some inbox messages on my xbox from some big spending friends like $24,000 big spenders. on bits and bitstore items.. they have permenantly deleted defiance from their xbox and are contacting people legally over this.. it's a huge mess, and this may just make the game go belly up sadly

Hey Everyone,

Recently, we put out a patch note for a fix we implemented for an exploit that we found in game. This exploit allowed console players to take advantage of the free season 3 episode code to gain large amounts of arkforge via the account linking system. I would like to take some time to let you all know what has, and is being done about this exploit.

Let me be clear: first and foremost, this behavior was an exploitation of game mechanics, and a clear violation of the Terms of Service. Players who went to great lengths to abuse the linking system, and proceed to create hundreds of characters to gain this unfair advantage were doing so outside of the intended restraints of the game. We do not tolerate this behavior, and steps have been taken to make sure it cannot happen any longer.

Over the past few days, an investigation has been performed into the extent of the damage this has caused, and going forward every effort will be made to clean up the gains that were obtained unfairly. As of now, all players that we have found to be abusing this exploit have been given an indefinite suspension. These players will remain suspended until the gains created can be removed from their accounts. Once this has been completed, the suspensions will be lifted.

I would like to take the time to thank all players who may have known of this exploit, and refrained from using it to create an unfair advantage. We want to continue to provide free content, like the season 3 episode codes in the future, and your continued support of this is necessary for such programs to exist. We the devs will also continue to uphold the values of Defiance, and work hard to ensure that this types of issue does not happen again. Thank you Arkhunters!

It's just silly lessons on the reproduction of the character . And remember that the ban is losing paid subscribers.

I agree, people criticize Trion for fixing this over other issues, but the exploit hurts the player base just as much as crit and invisible enemies. The people abusing the exploit were given an unfair advantage over the players grinding like hell or spending money on bit forge. The missing faces are no surprise or loss to anyone. They were upgrading weapons on the cheap and charging premium prices for weapons... or trading for a legit players hard earned weapon or shield.
