I found Nim quite easy with my 0.3 second fuse grenade and the slug combat shotgun that stunned him each shot. I didn't die but I got pretty close a bunch of times.

I wouldn't say the fight was boring or too easy (i think that the difficulty is relative to play style.) just standard. I'm glad it wasn't just some QTE thing like the end of Wet. (yeah i bought Wet for 2 bucks and beat it so what.) Loved the dragon bit when that happened Nim should of shouted "FOOL!! THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM!!" back on topic tho, it was a good boss fight imo anyways. (Even tho i set myself on fire -_-")
The fight was pretty fun, I enjoyed it. Had around 3-4 deaths before I managed to kill him, so not too difficult.
Killed him with shotgun/assault rifle setup.
I agree, the fight was quite fun, and definitely challenging enough. I like very hard fights but the main quest should be completeable by all players.
I'd been having a GREAT time with Defiance right up until this. After a few attempts I turned it off. It harks back to 8-bit platform bosses.
The entire game has been open world and then, just for the end, you're trapped in a little room with a guy who repeats the same move set over and over and over again while your pitiful guns do precious little damage. End result, you have to attempt to follow the same loop about a hundred times more than necessary after you've already proved you can do it. To add insult to injury he keeps dragging out the same waffle every ten seconds throughout the entire affair.
It's repetitive, it's lazy game-making, and it's tedious. I felt really let down by this. I'll go back and do it eventually, but at the moment I just feel let down by it.
I actually traded Dark Souls in pretty quickly. Couldn't be bothered with left-2-3, dodge-2-3, attack-2-3, left-2-3 etc etc.
Don't get all upset on the Devs behalf about my comment. I CARE enough about this game and my time invested in it to be annoyed by it, Dark Souls just got traded and I don't regret not finishing it one bit.
I only actually came back on to post a warning, I left the fight part way through (combination of frustration and yawning) and now the level to it is glitched and I can't get back (decided that I definatley want to get this done before the show airs). The NPCS are stuck on cover and without us all there the last-but-one door won't open.
There's probably a moral in there about not getting annoyed and giving up early for me![]()
Speaking of the pistol as a reward: I finally tried it out and the damn thing has godlike dps. A perfectly adequate reward.
He was a boss fit for the N64 era. Find the pattern in 2 minutes, expoit said pattern, repeat for 10 minutes while whittling boss health down again and again.
