I thought Nim was pretty cool. Loved his bouncing around and wall flips! Gives me hope for more EGO powers down the road and maybe some melee.

It took you 2 minutes to figure the pattern? D:

After reading all the comments about how tough the Nim fight is and how many people took several entries I went with rather mixed feelings into it. Considering I was leveling sawed off shotguns for the Pursuit, that's pretty much what I used the entire time.

Dodge, Shoot, Dodge, Shoot, Dodge Shoot. Hide behind Pillar - Shoot - Kite around Pillar - Shoot.

It wasn't difficult by all means, just very long. And it dragged out.

It was pretty boring in all honesty, but so are most fights once you figure them out.

However, if you make the pattern unpredictable and even ''adept'' players die 20 times before making it, normal players would die a 50 or quit the game. Or the mission at least. So it's not tailored at advanced players getting a challenge, but tailored towards general players being able to beat it.

With that in mind, I didn't mind the boringness of the fight, knowing I did it on the first try and I won't have to bother with it again.

Have to say knowing they were making then fight playable for every level of gamer not to mention this is only the begining there is going to be more fights more bosses harder bosses down the line I thought it was fairly good. Yes I died a few times but I beat him useing my cloak abillity after modifing the right perks to use and no other weapon then a green level ar-216 gladiator assult rifle did not even use grenades as for my ego power level it was low 400's, and my shield was blue level vbi sentinel wich only has a 1023 capacity. Anyway boring it definitly was not top notch not that either but for how early we are in the game it was a good fight just my two cents.

i enjoyed the fight. i only died once, and that was because of an accidental equipping of a shield with a ten second delay in fight. as soon as i switched to my proper shield,
for the first iteration i used a 448 frc northstar flare(one shot, but it does 1000 damage with recurring 100[helped keep track of him with those numbers floating above his head]
then once he started showing up in multiple numbers i just started spamming the field with my 426/VOT auto lobber and jumped around like a mad man, then switch to my 402 frc heavy assault carbine when he was up on the ledges, then for the final fight simple matter of the auto lobber on target till that sucka was toast. all in all, an excellent battle. some might have wanted more, some less, me, i'm ok with it, but I want more tougher badder bosses now please.

Dont know what's so boring about it, though some people tend to see it easier than others... I for example rushed the main story, never did any PvP before it, maybe one or two side missions, and I got to Nim with an EGO rating of 285 or something around that. To make matters more complicated, I used a sniper rifle and the assault rifle that you get from Nolan. I did manage to complete it without dying even once, but my ALT finger hurt like hell because I didnt stop pressing it for those 15 minutes. When I talked about it with a friend who mostly did PvP before the main mission, he said it was a piece of cake, reason being, he fought Nim with an EGO rating close to 900 and used an infestor/shotgun combo.

So yea my point is, the fight is only as BORING as you make it. If you want a challange on him, make a new char, rush the mission, then try and kill him with only your sniper rifle

Actually, I mostly use VOT weapons so the pistol was a nice addition to the collection. But yeah, after such a boss fight the reward should have been better. Since you do get that nice Purple Rifle from Nolan doing that Episode Mission involving the general killing of raiders, you should have got something better like an orange or legendary weapon for killing 3 phases of a season end boss. :/
