Is there a critical cap in the game?

Just wondering all vets ....is there a critical hit cap in the game

Prior to the release of Alcatraz it was 2.9. In order to hit this cap you needed the Assassin synergy, crit mastery, green and blue crit and the 1.3 Rolling Thunder ionic barrel.

each weapon has a crit multiplier cap...kon pointed it out for ar.

if you mean an actual crit hit cap...it is however much your weapon will do on a crit spot while overcharging in a dmg spike...there is no hard cap, i've seen some pretty damn high crit hits.

I've seen some crits over 1.2 mil with dmg spike/overcharge/green stuff at a monolith.

4 mil+ w assassin volge lightning rifle on war masters arm, OC and DMG spikes
Green crit, crit mastery and a t3 tachyon laced so could be a bit better
