true, the animation was a factor in my becoming a Brony.
the animation, theme song, internet popularity, support from friends all lead to a very enjoyable experience with the show and now i genuinely like it.

OP, I absolutely agree with you.
I can not bear to stand any of these fluffy, 'furry', colorful abominations any longer and neither do I see what's so... I don't even know what it is.

What do people see in it? I sure as hell don't.

Monochrome cartoon ponies are weird and people who like them may be closet furries and/or reincarnated little girls.

Hell the only horse-cartoons I can even watch are HotDiggetyDemon's PONY.MOV series, because they are hilarious. I would post them but I'd probably get banned. Dude himself appears to be kind of a brony, or at least worshipped by them. Also stay out of my shed.

Wow, I can't believe I took the time to read this entire thread... it was much like witnessing a car crash... I dared to glance and then I couldn't look away... it just kept happening over and over again (each post)... but damn, that's two minutes of my life I'm never getting back.

I can also say MLP has crept its way onto Netflix.. My 7 year old son decided it was a good idea to watch it.. I made him turn it off... Normally I wouldn't care.. but "bronies" have ruined everything...

I could only imagine some old creeper into MLP trying to offer him a free pony to get into the Van.. Just sayin..
