You don't get the halo immediately upon meeting the criteria, they still need to be granted, think it was about a week or so last year before the grants were done

They don't drop like other event headgears, just be patient and you'll get yours

We have had people get them from drops AFAIK. And the Defiance extra life page for 2015 says they are a drop.

If it is a reward, then cool I won't sweat it then, I have over 24 hours in and counting.

Yeah u might be right, guess I didn't properly read about it assuming it would be same as last year, good luck getting it to drop with the dismal spawn rate

Actually thinking more about it, it may have been intended as a drop last year too but it wasn't dropping so everyone who played got 1
