With this said, we're cool.

This charity means a lot to me. My company donates a large sum directly to the All Children's Hospital here in St. Pete.

My apologies is I came across terse.

That is actually amazing. I watch a Youtuber named Markiplier that raised a lot of money for charity, specially to hospitals but also to many other places that need it. He does great things and I support it completely, just like whatever your company might do. Props to you, I don't live in the US for EXL and I'm still young as to try and donate money via pay pal or other services, but when I get older I will. Thanks again for the correction, I didn't wanna sound entitled at all, I was just stating my opinion on the subject (but did it wrong).

I fully agree. Plus I went all in like every event. I pulled the full 48 hrs. What sickens me is like every event I've done I've gone full blast & all out to get squat. No ojs at all & very little of anything good. Such a waste of time.

Put it in the vendor for 500k, we need a scrip sink anyway.

I think a better idea is doing a giveaway. 500k is not equal to everyone. There could be EGO 100s that stayed the full 24hs and IMO they deserve it (again, I repeat, if the arkfall spawn rate was OK I wouldn't be saying this).

Titles will be awarded in your claims. Usually takes a few days to tabulate who played for how long.

I would've thought that Trion would add the halo to the bit store in addition to the loot table with proceeds going to charity like lab coat/head mirror bundle they released last year, can't remember the name though something to do with doctors

Hello!

Thank you for contacting us regarding Defiance.

We understand you've been having some trouble trying to get an item to drop, and would like to better explain the way drop rates work.

Drop rates are 100% random, so even if you've looted something 1000 times, your chance of getting a specific item is the same each time you loot and do not improve the more you loot. A good way to look at it is like rolling a die; say you need to roll a 5 to get an item, you could roll that die 20 times without it ever landing on 5, or you could get it 20 times in a row. It all just depends on how lucky you are.

Hi Ghosegaze, thank you for the reply. I fully understand the way drop rates work, thank you for taking your time to try and explain it to me.
What I am trying to say is: we didn’t get enough dices. We can’t roll a dice if it’s nonexistant, which is what I –and many others- think about this last event (the arkfalls being the dices).
Nonetheless I’ve been given a post by Destromathe at Defiance Forums which stated that they’d give away Halos to anyone who played one hour or more at the event.

Sounds to me like you deserve more than a halo.. perhaps something along the lines of a Nobel peace prize? lol
