Client failing to launch (PC Steam)

Just got mine running, went to the install folder and ran patcher as administrator.

Hey guys think I figured something out that will hopefully help some of you if the "blob deletion" method doesn't work. Log into your router (something like 192.xxx.x.x), go to port forwarding and change your protection level to the lowest option available, apply your new settings then run Defiance. If/When Defiance works close it, then return your router's protection level back to what is was before and your game should still work. Hope this helps guys, Good luck.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT VALIDATE THE FILES

Steam will download a new launcher and force a redownload of the WHOLE DAMN GAME.

I have to wait an hour and a half now to launch this game... and to think, the only reason I logged out was to fix ANOTHER bug.
