try this
go to steam folder
and delete the file ClientRegistry.blob
restart steam and it should work for u.

I'm Steam user and my Launcher kept crashing. All I did was exit out the launcher exit out steam. Restarted Steam then launched and it worked. No deleting at all.

So I closed out of the game because of a mission bug. It's happened twice now where a character just stops moving and the mission gets stuck.

Anyway, when I tried to restart it went to a white screen and did nothing.

So I tried again.. same thing. So I tried to validate the files via steam.

Steam says they are invalid and downloads a new client. I'm like "cool bro, let's get back to this"

Boot up the launcher, hit update like always, and poof.. I'm redownloading the damn game. -.-

It's still taking up space on my HD. The files are all still there. But now I have to wait an HOUR AND A HALF to relaunch the game. Is this the bug or is it just trying to piss me off?
