The current award system for event jackpots needs to return to the way it used to be. And just to head-off the many of you who will throw the whole "entitlement" arguement up here at first chance, I say...yes.

Yes. I feel entitled to have jackpots delivered to me in the same manner they were delivered to me for nearly a year. The system was never broken. A grim pay-wall has snatched away the only chance many of us will ever have to grab that jackpot we so desperately want. The excitement of knowing that weekly reward was waiting for you after completing the needed pursuit has been replaced with a "do it now" pursuit that can be finished with relative ease in one day and for minimal reward. This has completely erased the joy of knowing that tomorrow or the next day you actually have a chance at your most wanted jackpot.

Hulker Hell. New Frontier Harvest. Solstice Strike. Colony Courtship. These were grand times for Defiance. Armistice was a monumental event. Truly spectacular. Then came Midsummer Mutiny which was so horrific that Trion spoon-fed us another Armisice. Thank you, but now I fear we may be stuck behind that pay-wall forever.

Then came Midsummer Mutiny which was so horrific that Trion spoon-fed us another Armisice. Thank you, but now I fear we may be stuck behind that pay-wall forever.

The first HH and NFH had no guaranteed jackpots.

Armistice had nontradable jackpots, which was not so hot.

And Colony Courtship as a "grand time" for Defiance? Uhh... yeah... not really.

That leaves SS which didn't run for even a month. So I'm not sure where you're getting this year of halcyon happy times.

Better they focus on permanent content additions, I don't even mind paying for that. The event fatigue is real.

Why can't you just let people have thier own opinions without having to demean thier posts.

I have to agree though the first HH and NFH didn't have the guaranteed weekly jackpot box but the drops were better than of late.
Also they were pre patch and it's just my own personal preference but I preferred them to now.

I've gotten at least one jackpot at every event I've been to so far this year. Including a Dawn's Light today out of a 64 key box.

I would like to sell the extra jackpot for scrip so i dont have to farm or play the game any more than my 5 majors in a week.

Give us a pursuit that grants us a JP of our choice at the end of each event. Make it impossible to do it on more than one toon and make it un tradable... Would work for more of us than not....
