Plea to Trion: Screenshot feature.

I'm posting this in hopes that it will reach the people involved in making Defiance an even better game, I though I'd make an "official" request to add a screenshot feature to the game. Meaning that there should be an option to bind a key to take screenshots in game and have them saved to a 'Screenshots' folder in the games main folder on your PC.

To my knowledge there is no such feature currently available to us (and the use of the prt.scr key on a keyboard and then pasting it in another program to save it isn't really viable in my opinion because it requires people to tab on and do that every single time they want a screenshot.)

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see something like this added to the game and it'd be great to see others support this in hopes that it'll eventually be added to the game.

If you purchased from steam, i know you can use F12.

I actually agree with this idea, not with PC in mind but Xbox 360 and PS3, because we have no screenshot capability at all, and sometimes it's hard to submit feedback if we cannot take a screenshot of the bug.

That is understandable, the reason why I pointed it out for PC is simply because that's the platform I'm playing on but i think a screenshot feature for all systems is something that would be really needed and appreciated.

Little offtop (sorry), but hopefully usefull.

Solution for now folks: Bandicam can make SS of Defiance (and record video as well), you can check Fraps too for SS (don`t use it for recording).

yes screen shots and the ability to take a screen shot of your character IN GAME, like near the GG bridge

It's appreciated to see other solutions for taking screenshots via programs such as fraps or the like. but this thread was mainly created to point out to the minds behind the game features that one of the most basic one is completely missing.

The ability to temporarily disable the HUD with a key and then also having a separate key for taking a screenshot is something that most new (atleast mmo) games have and to be honest it's a shame to not see that in Defiance.

I was so pissed about this when I got to the badass robot part during the storyline quests later in the game. There is a cut scene that would make a fine nice wall paper source material, but toooooooooooooooo bad, I can not take the damn screenshot, so either I need to remake a new character and lvl up to that point in the story again, or I will never get the opportunity again. What a shame.
Btw, why can't they just make an archive for all your cut scenes, so we may watch them again?
