Simple fanboy logic;
Only good reviews are those which are positive. Negative reviewers are just bunch of angry kids trying to badmouth my favorite game.

Only good reviews are the one which are negative because the reviewers are being honest. All the positive reviews are paid for and those mouth breathers have no integrity.
There i summed it up all for you and the future 10 pages to come.
Reviews are just opinions. The PCGMedia review you linked tells you exactly what they didn't like about the game:
"We disliked: Poor graphics. Poor port, combat compromised. Questing dynamic is inexcusably stale, totally recycled. Multiplayer is lackluster, PVP feels inexplicably tacked on. AI is lazy, blind. Enemy types are samey. Basically no story - somehow. Dodgy voice acting. Not nearly enough RPG elements. Shameless cash-in. "
I'm pretty sure I've heard each of these complaints echoed many times elsewhere on this forum. Maybe not all in the same post, but they've all been touched on by the community. They simply attached a score to them.
You can, for example, certainly say "well, I don't care about the RPG elements so I don't care if they're missing", but that doesn't make the opinion any less valid. Now, if you do care about RPG elements and feel the game is overflowing with them, that's entirely different and it's up to you to express that.
I'm just using RPG elements as an example; feel free to pick apart any of the elements they brought up if you actually have a problem with any of them.

See I see this a positive thing. The reality is that every company is made up of individuals and sometimes people have a different perspective than others. Many times one persons perspective can ruin things for alot of people. The fact that a community of users is able to make a change like that is huge in my book. Yes it took time, but everything does. The Rift warrior one was no where near as bad as the WoW designers hate on for Paladins that took almost three years to finally be purged of it.
From my personal experience with Trion they have always come through. Then again I have a very different understanding of companies and how they operate.

I personally find this review of the game lackluster at best. The reviewer looks like he spent more time browsing the forums than actually playing the game. Additionally his descriptions of the problems with the game are nonexistent. My overall impression of that entire website is a group of guys that are trying to generate massive traffic to their site to make that marketing fat cash.
Seen it so many times that i know all the cliches fanboys and haters are going to post when it comes to reviews

Kind of agree with both..I would go so far with 7/10. Where it goes from here is up to Trion. Graphucs are OK, the UI is terrible. I HATE the ctrl key.. CHAT doesn't work for me. But I am having fun playing the game. Trion can improve it a lot...like they did with RIFT. RIFT was fun for about 4 weeks, when I had finshed. Thye made major improvements AFTER I left....never could get into it again though, so if they do the same with this game it'll be great soon enough.
Change it... I made ctrl duck because it should've been like that by default Lol

The thing is...I actually agree with MOST of this and I can't imagine anyone else saying otherwise. With that being said, the game is still fun and I enjoy it
