I believe the problem happens when other players interact with the objectives... meaning if anyone else is there before you, or show up and help while you are there it will bug. Ive considered letting mobs kill the farmer in the barn and revive him afterwards, but havent tried it yet.
Guess ill go find a shotgun and play some competitive for a bit
Still broke, I've sent in 2 bug reports. HELP!!
Ive had the same issue. The ranchers are running around but there is only 2 of them and when the raiders are killed they respawn back pretty fast. Ive tried to go to the ranch first like the mission suggested and ive also tried to abandon the quest and re-try and logout and relogin.
The only thing I can think that may mess this mission up is earlier before I got the mission there was a wandering hulker near there and the prisoners were able to be rescued. So maybe the wandering hulker has something to do with the mission being bugged but regardless I submitted a bug report and shall be stuck like the rest until it is fixed.
I have no idea but it's really annoying also I cant seem to find any more episode missions??? Did I already play through them all up to this point? Not much else to play just the repetitive side missions.Originally Posted by Libitina
Did not work. Even got a solo run where he helped up two of the sick farmers then bugged imediately when someone entered the area. Im getting really ****ing tired of this quest
I think it's nice how the defiance team does not even let you know if it's being worked on or any ways around the problem they just sit there and do nothing pretty much all I can do on this game now that the story will not advance.... WTF AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW????

i am stuck here as well. same issues. but i have noticed a lot of side missions that are locked up as well. tons of those tracked things that pop up out of the ground. There are no bad guys coming out. they are just sitting there with the tracks spinning. Some only part way out of the ground.
I think there needs to be a server restart for these to get cleared up. its been a few days since the last restart and the bugged stuff is starting to build up.
well it looks like after the quick reboot of the servers it almost fixed it. you can get pretty far but when the farmer is trying to help his friends in the barn it locks up again. he just sits there trying to heal nothing in this barn stall.
bump.. is there another forum we should post this in so the devs do something.. this is pretty game breaking if you cannot complete the main story.
