good game but why is players invisible

Looks like it takes so long to load players in my area when I fast travel / drive they never have time to load and are completely invisible I wanna drive past like 20 peeps not get off and wait for them to load

I haven't had any issues with players appearing when traveling, I have upgraded my PS3 hard drive to 7200 RPM 750GB Western Digital and everything loads up pretty smoothly, even a bit smoother than the beta client.


It might be hard drive issue or connection issue...

Its because of the slower server loading speed.

I was partied up w/ a friend the other day and we both went invisible to each other. we both could see each other on the mini map, but not on screen and of course the mics weren't working. this game would be amazing, it's incredibly deep, but the lag is horrible. when you're driving around and the map is still filling in, ai skipping around, invisible gun and head. :/ I wonder if this type of server s/u is to ambitious for this generation of consoles. does anybody know how it's running on pc?

You's might have been in different instances. It happens a lot when I group with a friend, I can see her on the map, but not on screen, then I have to join her instance.

what's her instance, is that their mission? cause that would be true.

Yer that makes sense but when you drive or peeps drive past you your both in visible then get off and wait 30 secs and they load up , and my grenade launcher needs 30 to load in and it doesn't shoot while loading .... I've got a beast broadband aswell sik game tho

push the right arrow dpad and select the friends name then if you are in different instances there should be a choice to join instance. then you can see eachother and help eachother in missions.

This happens to me all the time. There are ghost drivers everywhere 0_0
