Fixed. Browse to where you have Defiance installed. Go into the "live" folder and click defiance.exe. You'll likely get a windows error message saying you are missing xinput1_3.dll. Search for the dll online or just go to http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl...html?xinput1_3 and try that. Worked for me.
I was having the same problem until I tried launching the game as administrator. That launched the game for me.
