PS3 + USB Keyboard for chat (It Works)

Hi just letting you guys know that any USB keyboard will work for Defiance chat.

Simply plug it into your PS3 and once in game you hit enter to start typing and enter again, no menu hopping, and its much easier to request help.

I knew the keyboard worked but what I didnt know was that you could just hit enter, Ive been menu hopping lol so thanks for the info!!

Bluetooth keyboard works for typing too, and offers a wireless option. They cost more, but in my case I already had one from my tablet

I literally just plugged in one of my USB keyboards after concluding typing chat using the in-game system provided keyboard is TERRIBLE...

I then proceeded to spam some keys to see if it indeed supported USB keyboard input for chat and it eventually worked, good to know the actual button....

Now to actaully find some people to play with that actually communicate, I've been going lone wolf since the start...

I came on to see if anyone had the issues I'm having with the game, my EGO grid doesn't appear when I goto select/upgrade a perk or power...

The one thing I am very happy for Defiance on Xbox, is the party chat.... Our servers are laggy as crap and crash every 20 minutes but hey I can still complain about it with my friends in Party chat....LOL.....

As a long term ps3 user I started using Skype ages ago to communicate with my friends yes you'd need a laptop, iPhone or other device but it works great, it's mostly crystal clear and you can chat with as many people as you want.

The only issue of course comes with gaming with people you don't know, like I am now on defiance

Might as well purchase a generic one as well. Haha however I noticed no one chatting xD
