i use the ATV hammer-whatever and the time trials are a breeze to silver medal on and yes it refills my boost meter, just as long as you dont empty the boost gauge before hitting the next gate

edit: i think you might have to have boost engaged as you're going through the gate as well but not certain

Oh im well aware im bad, but the game is not fine, i'm recording these bugs for youtube, the terrain is just buggy, the smallest pebble can throw the car completely off. Nor am I the only one who feels it's not right... They need to make the times more realistic for the lesser of us driver you see.

The only gates that refill your boost are the ones with the smaller circle rotation in the middle of them. The others do not.

so I just completed the Iron Demon Run time trial 2 seconds shy of Gold, after a single restart where my atv flew 50 feet into the air b/c of a hellbug spawn, anyway...to be more specific about the boost refill only certain gates refill your boost gauge, they have a little circle/coin spinning in the middle and you do not have to have boost running in order for it to refill. the other gates are just the arc with nothing inside of it.
