Quick FYI, you can use roll/dodge when you are suffering a nano effect to remove it early. Works on goo, electric, fire, etc. Stop, Drop, and Roll!

I think 99ers just die quick because they have shields, When you get rid of the shields they have lower hp then the other npcs in the game. My Syphon guns seemed to have the same effect on 99ers in that they seemed to die quicker.

I wasn't sure if it was just me but now I know I'm not crazy lol, I'll add this to the guide.

Why stop? I keep moving while I roll continually. I have Roll bound to a side game mouse button. Using Roll along with a Respark shield lets me get my HP back up in most cases. If I've toggled Sprint then I am still in Sprint after the roll. I can even roll my way through a whole gang of mobs in an open area and watch my shield and health regen while they all run after me until I finally get most of them off me and then I fight what few are still following me and then return to go after the rest of them. If I have room to maneuver only 1-shot damage gets to me.

With Rocket Launchers, use the R key to detonate them.

Your minimap doesn't always show when you've taken out a marked objective but your big map does. You can then rclick on the big map and put a waypoint on your next objective to take out so it and pathing shows on the minimap. I forget the name of the quest but I used that technique yesterday when I had to bomb 3 trucks at an encampment across the street a ways from Iron Demon Ranch. I went up on the hill to the left of the encampment entrance, and would wait until they all went into a short "meeting" in a rear building near one of the trucks, and then jump down and take out a truck (or just get impatient and try to do it and end up rolling my way out of the encampment with a ton of mobs on me so I could go back and try it again). Worked good solo!

    The joke, you missed it.

Also, holy crap man, I've never seen someone reminisce about rolling like that before. That's half a novel you wrote there.

Oh haha! I thought you meant to actually stop before rolling. It would make sense if trying to roll and move at same time but by only using the keyboard, is why I mentioned the mouse button. I did go on about rolling, mostly in agreement with your point but also because I see almost no one at all ever using it. Amazing, really. The last paragraph mentioning it was a separate tip about doing a certain quest, how it and the big vs mini maps and waypoints and tactics helped do it solo (rambo didn't work for me there!) I was trying to add several different tips in one post to help the topic along. Sorry if I bored you with a 15 printed lines tl;dr novel.

thing is. Once your ego reachs that level you find weapons that level never higher and never to much lower.

Saw a Corrsion Pistol earlier today in a shop. Couldn't afford it, but just putting it out there, so it does still exist? Maybe only currently available at higher EGO levels.
