    Defiance Service Unavailable April 06/2013

    Servers are up, I have friends in game. I have tried all the recommended solutions to fix said problem, nothing has worked. Which makes me believe this may be an issue of connectivity between Trion and my isp. Thus, in hopes of collecting a little data, and perhaps Trions CS attention to the issue, whom else is having this issue currently, what is your location, and whom is your isp. I will additionally note, all other internet based programs work just nifty currently, including Rift.

    ISP: Frontier Communications.

    I am having this problem as well on the PSN. I am connected via direct ethernet, tested connection at PS3, its running 1.58mb/s

    It has been over 8 hours now, have tried everything I could find to attempt to resolve this issue, even the reinstall/patch, and the problem remains. For whatever reason, my game believes the server is down. Beyond frustrated with this.

    Organ and/or J33ster did you guys have a ticket in to restore an item lost? I just noticed that between the time I logged off last night when the game worked, and this morning when it didn't a GM added an item to my inventory for the lost item. Now I am wondering if this is the culprit.

    Oh this game hasn't worked at all for me, just got it today.
    I sent in a support ticket but I guess the guys at Trion are either swamped or don't work weekends?

    After 8 hours I decided to contact live support. May want to give that a try?

    Honestly Zephyr I think your onto something. I contacted support today through the chat and while they didnt restore my weapon because saposely there tools where not working at the time they gave me a lock box. Well when I attempted to log in to claim the box I was no longer able to connect to the servers. Its now been 4 hours and I can no longer connect to the servers and I cant get the support chat to load anymore to try and get this fixed. So now I am out of ideas as they dont seem to be answering there normal support tickets and not sure where to turn from this point on.

    I ran over to a friend house whom also plays Defiance and has been playing all day. Tried my account. Same error, had him log back into his, worked fine. This is now an obvious account error caused by an item restore.
