Agreed, though even if it may compete with Defiance when it releases, most of what I've seen is that it won't release till next year.. by then Defiance will have a strong player base i feel;

Don't know why this is in General Discussion, but Destiny look like Halo and Borderlands 2. i couldn't imagine this being a MMO if they are releasing 3 to 4 games in a 10 year span.

yeah i watch the live stream too, and i still dont think its a MMO. Why would you pay 60 dollars for the same MMO every 2 years?

what I don't get is that Bungie game wont come out till maybe end of this year or next year and already they are in the front display on xbox live dashboard, but yet Defiance is coming out in 2 months and all I seen is a coop trailer and some avatar stuff.

If this project is so big how come its not all over xbox live?

the thing that has my interest is they keep refering to it as a "shared world shooter" rather then called it an MMO. basically the same or remarkably simliar, so why not just called it an mmo. feels like there trying to avoid something publicity wise.

This is a total mystery,one of the worst pre-launch advertising
,i've ever seen on XBL and mostly everywhere else.And Destiny is already on pre-order in some retailers (in France).No release date but i guess it will be october because Activision will launch also a new COD in november(as usual).

Not at all interested or worried about Destiny. It's console only, so has no real impact on what I play.

Yeah, still scratching my head on why no PC version as of now.
