Remove shotguns from PvP or PvP will not launch

Haha, hardly. They nerf for www and effect pve. Even though they "claim" www is pve, it's not. So they may have separate skills for pve and spvp, it hasn't stopped them from ruining pve.

WvW isn't PvP either so I don't see your point here. I shouldn't have used GW2 as an example any as it ****ing blew monkey ****.

Really, because Call of Duty begs to differ. One of the least balanced shooters in history... has better balance.



If it isn't a serious bug, balance issues are a bigger deal.

APB didn't have one-shot shotgun kills either. And then, even beyond time-to-kill, there were a number of other factors that played into each weapons balance.

If OP thinks that shotguns are OP, then why isn't he using them and owning instead of complaining here? Unless he sucks at normal weapons, AND shotguns. :P

If Shotguns are allowed to remain in the PvP scene without any sort of nerf while inside of PvP matches the competitive PvP scene will never get started. In a game where aiming already means nothing (random CoF) you cannot have a weapon (does not matter which shotgun, they all do this) that takes your entire shields down in 1 shot and then kills you in the second. Headshots from snipers don't even register that 90% of the time.

If you want your game to succeed you'll either remove shotguns from PvP or balance them much better.

Adolf hitler tried to ban the use of shotguns in WWII for the same reason. My point is.....its war. There are no rules no whining and no "hey you can't use that its to strong" just use your own shotty.

Sure they are good at close range but it's not like your sniping with them. Isn't exactly 1 shot also.

Are we going to ban sniper rifles too? No. So, too bad. Live with it.
By the way shotguns are fine. You lose range and get more DPS. Sounds right.

Shotguns are fine the way they are. By the way they should remove the frag grenades as well cause they could 1 hit kill you.

I find it 100% easier to get 1hit kills with my nade I found, min dmg 1400 max 3kish. And I use a sawed off shotgun for the reason that its amazingly powerful. A single use weapon forcing reload after (or max two uses if have overload) being powerful? Sound's right to me. I tried the bird pellet guns and others in pvp, and don't see why you are so upset. If someone has a shotgun at point blank on you, then you failed at whatever range of weapon you chose. If you use SR's and cry about shotguns, maybe learn to snipe or not get ambushed etc. Same goes for ar's/lmg's/br's. I use a 20 fire rate smg and a sawed off so that puts me at closerange only, and I don't complain if I get sniped, which is very very often a 1hit ko if they headshot.
