I bunnyhop all the time time in pvp and pve. I have never understood why people get so upset about it. Yes it makes it harder to kill, especially crit people, that's the point. Boo Hoo these people are making it harder for me to kill them.. we better nerf that.
If you pvp enough you get to know the other pvpers style. Bunny hopping blurers I try to stay back from cause man they are hard to get a hit on close up without getting dizzy; from a mid range they are easier to get a decent hit on with an ar. Good snipers; sneak up on them and blast them from close. People with high damage rebuffs and good ar's snipe them from distance. There are tactics for everything and yes sometimes you just die a lot and get mad.
Bunnyhoppers can be irritating, just like blurers, and cloakers and anyone else who kills me before I kill them. I am more annoyed my perks keep un-equipping.

Defiance is gone. Gamigo has been "not neglecting" the game for over a year, yet there's nothing new except for low effort arkfalls and bitshop items.
I know it might be hard to quit a game you loved for years but you have to understand that it won't get better. Ever. If you like the game in it's current state, then sure, keep playing it. You're enjoying yourself after all. But if you aren't, don't hope for a better future for Defiance. Because it won't come.

I mostly use my chaos though I switch it up for a tachmag once in awhile.
I hop all the time, but not just in pvp in pve too.
This is a really stupid thread...to all the people who don't pvp much or just aren't that good at it and are whining about "bunny hopping" all I have to say is this ; you are 100x easier to kill when you don't jump and I guarantee you that if bunny hopping gets nerfed or made ineffective then you will die twice as much and twice as fast. I actually find myself side stepping and swaying left to right more often than jumping and that makes it harder to headshot me. You gonna nerf side stepping too? Then what? You gonna order Trion to make everyone stand still when they shoot or else they make your weapons unable to fire while moving period? Pvp is war and in war you adapt or you die. Plain and simple. If you can't adapt and counter someone else tactics blame yourself, not the game.

I thought the point of PVP was to not get killed hence the dodge jump duck and dodge technique (a.k.a. bunny hoppin, using trees and stuff as shields or letting another guy go in pull aggro and then go after the enemy.)
Try timing your jumps to the other hoppers would be my advice.

I imagine that the best way to slow down bunny hoppers is to use a Corrupter. I don't play PvP so if I'm wrong please correct me.
