Trion, tell me which assault weapons would use a melee stock over a recoil one?

My favourite high crit AR had a melee stock so I switched it for a t4 recoil stock. Hated it and replaced it with a t3 melee stock and now I love it again. I have the same AR but rolled for higher damage and have the recoil stock on it...love it. I get higher crits with the melee and higher regular damage with the recoil. Weird right?

Learn to shoot with the melee stock and you can not only kill things with the butt of your gun when you run out bullets but you can also save yourself nearly 1 million scrip when you buy or get a melee stock for free...I've seen t4 ERRs go for over 1 million for a decent synergy. Never been charged anywhere near that for a melee stock...and once I learned how to shoot with it, I honestly prefer it for critting with an AR.

I've found them to make the gun look bad ***** on smgs that have little to no recoil already.

Yeah I have no probs chucking them on smgs either.


To OP, you think you got it bad? I bought 22 reso crates and only managed to fully mod 3 weapons because I only got 5 stocks in total... and 1 was an RL which may as well be junk.

May we should look at your posts? Why do you play defiance again? It seems to be a horrible game for you, since constant complaining Just tired to read the same things day for day.

I tried to *like* the melee stocks. I even ran with an omec fragger off hand for another 10%. Problem is, it's not enough of a boost to make melee useful over the precision a recoil stock gives. Maybe if you really build around it.

I will say though, it was funny getting a couple melee kills in pvp with it. But that could be done without the insignificant boost of the melee stock..

Are you on Xbox by any chance? Fairly certain I have AR and pistol in t3 at least.
