Sorry I don't have an answer but I can confirm that it can work properly. Shortly after the update I was in an exped with MM and he DC'd loading into the boss fight and was able to rejoin us after he logged back in.

Maybe you have to click "quick match?" Because I chose to try to join directly on a player. Should I have tried quick match then?

Or, as Thumb stated, was it because I had to restart my ps3? Because I was the only one who had to do so.

while i cant confirm anything it sounds like we need 2 search quick match when we log back on, im gonna go in expo now and purposly turn off xbox in boss fight, an c if it lets me rejoin my friend, or if i have 2 join quickmatch
