There are several methods to get the lowest heat sink buried in the rubble. The most effective way is to try and turn the arm to expose that heat sink.

Others I hear use Patch fire weapons as they can go through the rubble. (bonfire rockets, pyro grenades, Incendiary grenade launchers.)

BMG work sort of well if even a little bit of the heat sink is exposed the BMG links and does damage. (very little damage but damage nonetheless.)

However the preferred method is to turn the arm and smoke the heat sink with an LMG.

I kinda like that bugged heat sink as it requires actual teamwork, there is atleast one spot where you can shoot it thus person who has "aggro" needs to position him/herself so that rest of peeps can shoot it. I just wish there was something similiar that is actually intended and not a bug, because there really isnt much real teamwork needed in here.

Nice. Exactly what I was going to say. I recall my very first scrapper arkfall being like this and thinking "if that is by design, it is pretty darned ******ed".

Anyhow, yeah, make sure the arm is turned in a direction where you can shoot at the heatsink, if only a small portion is accessible. Problem is some players don't get that and run all over the place, having the arm chase them, making it take waaaay too long. A decoy is definitely a good way to go.

Precisely. On that first day I was doing this but all the dumbasses were treating it like the one they were at prior which is the one accessable from the front. And he thought I was a dumbass. Dumbass!
