Found yous on the iPhones podcast app, will not download though?

Finds first episode, brings it up, fails download, says tap to retry and when retrying it fails again, don't know if its the app or podcast or what.

Using latest version off app on a iPhone 4s if that helps!

A couple of my friends noticed IOS devices giving problems with several podcasts as of late. I have a friend who uses a program called Downcast I believe. We have been having the exact same problem with our other podcast The Lair as well, we have submitted issue after issue with Apples customer service but we are still waiting on a resolution.

This is an issue specific to the default iTunes podcast app. There are at least a few other podcasts out there that experience the same issue, but to date we have not been able to figure out how to fix it, or if there is even anything we can do about it on our end.

I have an iPhone 4S as well, but I use Downcast, and everything works with no issues. It costs 2 or 3 dollars, but it's worth it, in my opinion...much better than the default app on every level. I'm sure there are some free ones out there as well, but I haven't tried any of them. Either way, I strongly recommend to anyone using the default app to switch to something else. It's good for the soul.

As a fan of The Lair and new player of Defiance I am looking forward to enjoying this podcast as much as the other. I also have the downloading issue so I have started using RSSRadio app to download directly to my iphone. I enjoy your random tangents and the synergy between the hosts.

Thanks Sqweasle, we are hoping to get the downloading issues sorted out, we were hoping with the previous IOS patch it would be it unfortunately still seem to be happening for a few people. Most people are telling me it is the IOS podcasting app itself.
