Weapon leveling and weapon class leveling systems make no sense.

you know this thread was made 4 months ago and you couldnt reset your guns xp till recently

I didn't really bother to read past the first page.. but.. Can't you like.. reset the exp on a weapon with some ark salvage? it seems like a lot of people complain about a weapon capping in exp, and having to replace them(I don't know why people think they HAVE to replace it), and forget(while you probably won't get anymore bonuses), you can still KEEP your weapon, and still KEEP LEVELING the weapon skill overall...

I mean unless I'm mistaken and something got changed during this week that I've not been on. Anyways. point? Stop QQing.

It's an old thread someone felt the need to necro, you couldn't reset weapon skill then.

So as the thread no longer served a purpose we gave it new life before the cruel mods come and kill it.

lol I'm just reading this thread now, and it would have still been a giggle at the time.
However before gun mastery reset came into play I found myself a bit flummoxed with finding a purpose as loot seems to drive everything. If I didn't think I could keep finding a Better weapon than my last this game wouldn't deserve to be in my console.

I think its a good system actually. You feel like your putting in the effort to get all weapons leveled. Alos I have been to numerous arkfalls with a white smg syphon recently and topped the dmg chart. So level your weapons then get ego high and find that 1 weapon. Cant do everything at once. How about you start the game with max ego and every god weapon? Would that solve the problem?
