Bring back corporate espionage lockbox

Hey all, while I'm not sure we'll see this available for Scrip in the future, this thread has been sent to the team for review and this feedback has been noted. Personally, I'd very much like to see other ways to gain those outfits, they're quite nice! Thanks for sharing the pictures, Belle Starr.

i see them coming to the bitstore, what bout the weaps? we want wetwork/firewall weaps, can u at least make em drop like the other backpack syns?

So let me ask did ppl pay real money for these "rare" items,donate to charity, or collect for a charity,paid extra money for the pre release game? So why aren't we allowed to have a chance at this stuff. If they're not really giving us new stuff why can't we have a chance at it. So give me a real reason why they shouldn't bring them back. Is it really hurting the ppl who don't want to buy them?

okay but look at the other side of this coin...
the reg players who scrimp and save till they get to a mill and buy this box and get garbago.....
they only get one shot,
whereas these cheaters,can do that alllll day long,open box after box.

when one of these lovely " gents " we speak of,can buy/offer a 100 mill for a single jp,
then you Know the Economys just frakked all to hell.

i can agree with that... maybe make one that costs 50k scrip but have it give only one or 2 items

Dropped a fortune trying to score theseoutfits...would love to see them available for sale or whatever....just bring them back please.

Still not seeing what the problem other players have with me spending my scrip as I please, even if other players got nothing they felt worthwhile from the Corporate Espionage Lock Box! My first character, Belle Starr, spent 12 million scrip over about a year's time before she got one outfit, the emerald warrior seen above, and that was before any scrip glitches! She just picked up every single piece of loot after any kind of battle, and many a weapon reward, and vendored it (unless she wanted it, natch), saving up the scrip and ark keys until she could buy a box. Often, she would end up selling everything back to the vendor after buying such a lock box, although I generally liked the weapon synergies, and often kept a weapon I fancied! Still have some of them!

Point is, even though some of my clan mates in Team Evolution thought me crazy at the time for buying them, it was my scrip, and I was having FUN doing it, so who was hurt? Again, don't see a problem with having the option of buying a corporate espionage lock box, even if some think it was too expensive or frivolous or doesn't give "ample" awards! I and evidently some other people had FUN doing it, and some of the people who have joined the game since those lock boxes disappeared would also like them back so they can have such FUN too! Thus my battle cry for this thread remains: TRION, PUHLEEZE BRING BACK THE CORPORATE ESPIONAGE LOCK BOXES!

That said, however, if as Kiwi hinted at, the outfits might only come back through the bits store, then so be it! At least the new players will get a chance at obtaining them! If so, I hope that like the other outfits, if u buy them, all the characters of your account get them. The one thing that was somewhat irksome was that once Belle got, say the emerald warrior outfit, Lady, Erika, Sandy and Lena did not! And when Lady got the bionic warrior outfit (seen below), and later the matching android collar, only she had it ! However, that just made me have my other characters save up and spend their scrip too, so it was like a game within a game to me! Good times...

I got to open only a few of these boxes. I love the idea of being able to obtain very nice looking outfits just by playing the game. I am what you would call a collector. To be honest I would simply LOVE to see more feminine looking outfits in the game. I would also love to see non combat pets added to the game. In my opinion more options are a good thing.

I believe the problem some people have with bring these boxes back is the devaluation of their inventory, and the explanation found in this thread as to why they were removed in the first place defies logic. They were available very briefly when I started playing this game, and I got 1 which yielded an outfit an oj sniper rifle and a mod or two, as far as cost vs reward goes I don't see any difference between the corporate boxes and any others offered by the vendor's
