Stuck and nothing to do

Well I have done all the side missions and I am stuck in the main Mission and cannot pass it because for an older player is ridiculous hard and now I have a game with nothing to do. I don't care about the speed trials because the records already posted are unreachable so what to do? Is this all Defiance have to offer?

Don't take me wrong I like the environment, love the side missions, love the traveling and the diversity of weapons, but the main quest line is not designed for everyone to finish, but just for those younger players with good reflexes.

I am stuck in the mission on the cave where you got to kill the boss, there is no way for me to finish it, because every time I died it resets me back to start all over and that sucks.

It should not reset and all the hard work you put in should not go wasted.

The game is strangely unforgiving sometimes. What are you stuck on, and what region/platform are you on? Probably lots of people willing to help you.

If jack - just play peakaboo with a detonator

If nim - just smash the dodge button till you notice he is at one of the points where he just stands still for a second and then unload.

I don't think its so much your poor reflexes, but your lack of commitment to adapt to the situtation at hand.

Regardless, after the story mission is done, your back right where you started at with this post, so consider that.

if it jack leg joe you need to shoot the tanks off the little guys, but dont kill them, they suicide under the guy and you shoot joe rinse and repeat. he'll will jump down and be real mean

I am in precisely the same situation you are. I'm an older player as well. I've been an MMORPG player for years and have had good success with PC versions of Fallout New Vegas and Call of Duty, but I simply cannot get past the Dogmine instance. You can't bring helpers in apparently either. I've spent at least 5 hours between last night and today trying over and over again, trying things others have suggested, but I simply cannot get past it. At this point I've submitted a ticket for a refund. I hate for it to end this way as I really love the concept, but I'm out of options personally.

Well I'm an incomplete quadriplegic from breaking my neck, my hand function is extremely limited(as most of my extremities), and I still managed to play thru and beat the end boss nim.

U just need to change your play style.

I'm not sure, but I think the time trials and hot shots don't use those leader boards for placement. I think there is an internal threshold you have to reach to get gold, silver or bronze. I say this because I did a time trial the other day on my runner and and wasn't anywhere near the leader but still got bronze - unless that's a bug

Also, maybe ask in chat for help on that one - I'm not there yet but I think there are lots of players willing to help.
