    In the upcoming Armistice will it be the old Synergy weapons (HeartBreaker, Purge, Saturnalia, Plate Slicer) or the newer Synergy Weapons (Hallow Points, Flames of Passion, Relentless Decimation, Eternal Presence)?

    please add/fix

    I would suggest holding a vote on these or other suggestions on the forum as to what needs/should be fixed and if say a percentage vote for one item thats in theory what needs to be fixed most, make it a competion; pick the right item that needs to be fixed win a lockbox, something... anything

    * more loadout slots plz, like 20 or so to start with.

    * the ability to remove a single mod from a gun without breaking either the gun or the mod and replace it with another mod, I have many irreplacable guns with the incorrect irreplacable mod on those guns that i would like to spend the time fixing but i simply can't.

    * make the currencies account wide instead of character speciffic.

    * make it so we can rename or add words to cyber rigs, or at least see what type of chipslots are on the rig in the stats card such as 3x offencive slot, 2x defencive slots that kind of thing, even being able to add 1 character or letter to a rigs name would help.

    * add a mailing system or account bank or turn the claimables area into an account bank or at least alow modding in the claimables area. and or add a clan bank.

    * arkfalls still do not happen readily in sausolito, I have seen maybe 3 in the last month, which is actually an improvement over previous amounts of arkfalls at those locations and arkfall spawnrates on a whole are low for a game based around arkfalls which has pursuits asosiated with arkfalls. this becomes more aparent during events when the 4 arkfall sites in sausolito do not spawn arkfalls, during the last few events there was 1 arkfall that i saw in each event during the 2-3 weeks that the events run for.

    * warmaster spawn sites that were reduced from the 13 posible in san fran to 3 in san fransisco to stop them from despawning from the map which was not solved by duing so as it still is forced to be despawned from the map and after an incursion or major arkfall finishes so diectly after a server reset there is a posibility for maybe 1 warmaster for 2 -3 hours or until another phase opens up at which point there can only be 1 more warmaster and this goes on throughout the day with warmasters being wiped off the map.

    * pvp latency issues.

    * as always a shrill detonator like an autumm scourge would be nice or an electric one or rocket launcher. the current bug detonators bugs could do with living a little longer like the ones from the bug hand grenades

    * from talking with other players I would reccomend fixing old issues especially long standing ones rather than adding new content

    * whatever happened to the 2 vendors that sold white mods at half price?

    * be able to see place names on the map while zoomed out

    * pursuit tracker would be nice in th hud, with tick boxes in the pursuit list for the ones you want to keep track of so when you're at 4981/5000 kills you don't have to keep checking back on the pursuit list that kind of thing.

    * Same for the contracts, it'd be better if there where checkmarks on the individual contracts headers for daily and weekly completed so you can see which faction still has outstanding contracts without having to open each and every flyout menu (which close when you open the next one so they should stay open when you click on them at least) or an overview on the character selection screen so you can see this character still has contracts outstanding, or ingame list all contracts for all characters so they can be crossreferenced for compleation.

    * a self revive indicator for all group members

    * a revive timer indicator for fallen group members

    i think we found ways to glitch them so removing them is the solution, what about the 5 core major arkfalls that had shields around each core so you Had to do the cores in order, no jumping ahead, these were also removed for the same reason as I understand it.

    Easier to remove content, than to fix it. I think trion has been pretty clear and consistent when it comes to this.
    Shame they won't remove expeditions until they can fix the auto extract bug, but it generates $$ so of course it would stay.

    1. Any word on Dark Metamorphisis map being used for other aspects of the game? Specifics if availible.

    2. What's the chance of setting up community play dates with the Defiance team?

    3. Last I heard, updating Warmaster loot to be able too supreme would be game breaking. Has there been any there been any progress there?

    In this thread were 18 pages of issues ppl wanted to see fixed. Albeit, several were mentioned more than once but, I dare say, there were more than 5 issues altogether.

    The "Great Bug Bash" happened and addressed 5 issues. 2, of which were not fixed, and a third is questionable.

    My question. When is Round 2 of the "Great Bug Bash" going to occur?

    We diligently try, as a game forum community, to assist you in tracking these bugs down and giving as much info about them as possible. We're repaid with what? A 1/2 jacked attempt to appease us...

    It really is quite simple. Either a bug CAN be fixed and is being ignored for whatever reason{bit store importance} or it can't be fixed.

    If it's the former, shame shame shame.

    If it's the latter, please, just be honest with us and tell us, "It can't be fixed."

    I find it deplorable that 18 pages of reported bugs reported resulted in a mere 5? fixes. Why ask for our help if you're not going to implement it?

    So when are we getting a new jackpot in the T4 lockbox? After the Omec shield was the jackpot for 2 months I thought we weren't going to have to go through that again.

    Questions for the next Livestream

    Forgive me in advance if I (read "when I", it's inevitable) go on and on regarding an aspect too much. I'll TRY to be concise and phrase these as questions... yet I'll add reasons behind their significance for me. These are not listed in any particular order.

    1) Will we see "real" expeditions later this year, where we fight our way through a terraformed continent to rescue other remnants of humanity, for instance?

    Why I state this is I enjoy the story of Defiance. Now that the show has ended you are free to continue developing content that expands on the story in this world and provide a stimulating reason to keep playing Defiance. I've grown tired of most of the content in the game, am in Defiance less and less after playing it for over a year now. While I enjoy the combat mechanics and fighting with my clan of friends, I'm hungering for more content. I still enjoy the challenge of the increasing difficulty found in expeditions... yet we are going nowhere in them. "Expeditions" is such a misnomer for these starting Alcatraz instances. I remember back to your enthusiasm for Alcatraz becoming a launching point for expeditions through the rest of America and it still holds my fancy, as I'm clear it does yours too. Which leads me to my next question.

    2) Will Trion support the development of Defiance as it does Rift? With the resources to develop Defiance into a thriving vibrant mmo world instead of it seeming as if it's the ginger fourth cousin we keep in our basement out of embarassment?

    I was present at the launch of Rift and was/still am blown away by how clean the launch and the level of polish the entire game brought. In comparison, we know Defiance was rushed through development to meet the TV show's deadlines, however Defiance still seems crippled by that development and an interface and database that simoultaneously supports consoles. Rift continues to be visionary with the creativity put into Nightmare Tide and Into the Wilds. Here... it would be noticeable if Defiance got even a quarter of the love given to Rift. It could remain worth playing, or for some to return to. For instance, we could advance on and destroy a Volge staging area that's planning to attack the bay area, or have a series of missions fighting our way down the coast to liberate Los Angeles (yes, debateable if it's worth saving) that culminates in a pitched battle (ie: raid) that would give a reason for clans to gather squads for specific purposes to accomplish the task. It strikes me as odd, still, that most of the Defiance content is played as a first person shooter when there is so much more possible to give us a reason to organize and fight tactically with these diverse weapons as teams of 4/8/16/whatever to fight as a military, or covert ops or whatever. Challenge us.

    3) Much of what MrE posted above in #42 is right on the money for practical ease of use issues in attempting to play the game(especially with multiple characters).

    4) Can we FINALLY ACTUALLY REALLY get a FIX to the blinding intensity of BMG's and the Mass Cannon spamming graphics in the next two to three months? Can we have a setting to switch off that particular white/blue particle effect when the detonations occur or the BMG streams?

    - A Fix. Not another "Oh, we've got to look into scheduling an actual graphic artist into reworking this" which still doesn't happen 'answer'. Personally, I've got whiplash damage from multiple car accidents that sometimes affects my sensitivity to light intensity. It's one thing when I am solo and can just stop playing when my eyes start blurring from trying to recover from the intense flashes atop my current target and the pain keeps increasing to slam my head if I don't stop. When I'm with clan/friends I can ask and they'll stop using the weapons. That's not always the case in open world major events such as the upcoming Armistice event. With the damage mass cannons are bringing, and it's nice to have people enthusiastic for sweet weapons... but the dominating bright flashes that pass through my normally dimmed screen settings... can still be too too much. It's NOT fun to be in pain. It's not fun to shut down the game in agony, and left to deal with conditioning issues when I associate this game with pain.

    Thank you for asking again Kiwibird for our thoughts. Your enthusiasm is appreciated. It's nice to have them be considered, but we hope for the best and that they are acted upon, as well.
