To play or not to play

Good day everybody,
I already own Defiance, but due to personal reasons I couldn't play it, but I did lurk forums out of curiosity, and I have found out that the game has its problems (like any mmo in their first week), but I also read that most of them should get fixed on 15th April. What would you recommend to me? To play the game right now, or eagerly await the 15th patch?

There's nothing that I've found that comes even close to game-breaking.

I'd start now if you already have the game purchased.

I've been playing a TON and haven't had any issues that were anywhere near game-breaking. Usually it's just a graphic glitch here and there.

If you don't play right now, you'll miss out on the first collection of episodic missions. After the 15th they remove the old ones and put new ones in the game, or so I hear.

I'd say at least log in and start a character. While there are 8 pages of notes for the patch on the 15th, that doesn't mean that something else wont break when they're fixing all of that stuff at one time. Further, if you're at all interested in the show, I'd play enough to at least do the episode missions before they potentially change/get removed for some time on the 15th.

Some episode missions might disappear when the pilot airs and get replaced with new ones. So if you don't mind possibly missing those then you can just wait. Though I have a lot of fun playing it now, there are few isssues here and there of course but really nothing game breaking.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about playing right now. The content currently in the game can be completed within a couple days. Completing goals only adds another night or so of playability. PVP is a lackluster shotgun/stealth fest relegated to two close quarters maps and one moderately diverse map Shadow Wars, which like the rest of the game, gets old quick. Just simply not enough content, though a solid ground work is in place for the future.
