Q. After some time, leveling your ego becomes dependent on PvP. Will this change?


A. Keep an eye out for changes to the way you get to 6K EGO. We have some changes incoming that should allow you to level without the need to PvP if you don’t want to .

Will this make pvp a thing of the past or in fact tempt more people into doing pvp once they hit the cap.

Personally I don't really care as I'm more interested in the route we'll have to take to get to the 6k cap as that wasn't mentioned in the notes.

A lot of us have had concerns about having to do pvp pursuits and it looks like Trion have listened.

I'm all for it. I plan on earning my 6k by current standards as I love pvp. I find that I can go after each pvp pursuit if I want to, but it's more fun to just keep playing pvp until I get the pursuits done. Hell you need 50 hours anyway...might as well just have fun and enjoy the ride...

I don't think it's the end of pvp. Those who love it will still play it.

For me personally, I have seen other games do stuff like this in an effort to "coax" (in some instances I see it as force) people into some parts of the game that they may have no interest in. For me, that is stuff like PvP when there are other choices available. I have no interest in going there, even if it means I will not get to 6k because of it.

I don't mind taking part in pvp but it's just the pursuits that are the problem.
Getting capture and defence kills are nigh on impossible as literally every kill I'm involved in usually ends up as an assist.

I play since the game became f2p and still im not 6000 ego xD i did all my pvp pursuits in 2 days aprox (except for the one of 50 hours played,or something like that) but it takes me a lot to complete the expedition pursuits and im too lazy to do 5000 kills with bolter sniper

They can't get rid of pvp. Zone chat early in morning every day would be too Damn boring.

I've had all my pvp pursuits done for close to 2 years now and mostly all the season 1 pursuits done (minus a stay social here and there) but Im all for some more options to get ego.

Way to many of the expedition pursuits are more trouble than they're worth thanks to the loot box requirements in WB, SP, and HS
