Certainly wouldn't be the end of pvp... most people that play it nowadays have either long ago had those pursuits done, or just don't care to intentionally complete them. They actually like pvp either way.
Others that are going into pvp solely for the pursuits - only want to get those pursuits done so they can be done with pvp.
It'll be nice when pvp becomes entirely optional though... and I'd wager there'll still be people pvping simply because they like to pvp.

The pvp players in xbox eu are a joke always the same french lot or a "group" from a certain clan..
Pretty sure they would suck at an actual pvp game & only decent on this game because the op weapons & glitches they use

Just yesterday, me and Griff went into PvP withan LMG,a Sword and a Respark. After that, I fell in love with SAWs.
Defiance is gone. Gamigo has been "not neglecting" the game for over a year, yet there's nothing new except for low effort arkfalls and bitshop items.
I know it might be hard to quit a game you loved for years but you have to understand that it won't get better. Ever. If you like the game in it's current state, then sure, keep playing it. You're enjoying yourself after all. But if you aren't, don't hope for a better future for Defiance. Because it won't come.

I hope they don't screw up PvP with that update, and I don't think that players should be allowed hitting 6k ego withouth playing single PvP match.
There already are some hard and grindy PvE pursuits just like PvP ones are, and if those PvP pursuits are to be avoided to hit max lvl, then I want Expedition and Kill count pursuits to be avoided aswell, because they are hard too.
